Strands of Gold
This photo was taken of The Narrows at Zion National Park in Utah. The Narrows is the narrowest section of Zion Canyon. This gorge has walls a thousand feet tall and the river is at times twenty to thirty feet wide. I love trying to capture the essence of Zion National Park. To me, it is more than just slot canyons and amazing hikes. Zion is home to some of the most scenic canyon country in the United States, featuring high plateaus, a maze of sandstone canyons and waterfalls.
